METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC ADDRESSING FOR DISPLAYING DATA OF LED MODULE

A method for automatic addressing for the data display of LED (Light Emitting Diode) module is provided to minimize the time required to addressing by automatically designating the address of the section controller according to the algorithm performed by microcontroller. The USART (Universal Synchronous/Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) interrupt is set up (S210). The microcontroller in each section controller is initialized. The method for transmitting and receiving data, the communications speed and the address of each section controller are initialized (S220). If the section controller is the section controller of the first, a main controller confirms the initial address of the section controller. If the section controller is not the section controller of the first, the section controller receives the addressing variable from the previous section controller (S230). The section controller sets up own address based on the initial address confirmed by the main controller or the addressing variable received from the previous section controller.
