Zusammenfassung:	A method for providing human information is provided to supply human information based on image data and enable a user to input information about the human directly, thereby improving accuracy of human recognition through user feedback about the human information provided in a terminal. A method for providing human information comprises the following units. A face matching unit(210) includes a face detecting part, a characteristic point abstracting part, and a similarity outputting part. The face detecting part confirms whether a human face is included in image data or not. The characteristic point abstracting part abstracts eyes, a nose, a mouth from the detected human face.
