Zusammenfassung: | A method for extracting a building boundary from Lidar data is provided to extract a building boundary substantially identical to a real building boundary easily, quickly, and accurately from Lidar data, which is irregular 3-dimensional point materials, through grid pattern, histogram analysis, contractible material fabrication, convex hull algorithm, rearrangement of boundary points, and a fitting process to a linear equation. A method for extracting a building boundary from Lidar data includes: making a Lidar material for a certain area in a grid pattern(S10); extracting a material corresponding to a building from the Lidar data made in a grid pattern(S20); extracting a boundary material of the building from the extracted building material; fitting boundary points forming the boundary material included in a window of a certain size to a linear equation and extracting corner points from the boundary points forming the boundary; fitting boundary points arranged between two corner points neighboring each other with reference to the extracted corner points to a linear equation, obtaining cross points among straight lines obtained by the fitting, and simplifying the building boundary by determining the obtained cross points as corner points of the building. |
