Zusammenfassung:	A system for tracking the location of a specific criminal and an authentication method thereof are provided to authenticate devices used in tracking the location of the criminal more conveniently and efficiently without a limitation of a place. A portable tracking device(120) requests a control center server(180) to authenticate the portable tracking device. The control center server authenticates the portable tracking device. The control center server transmits an authentication completion message to the portable tracking device. The portable tracking device decodes and stores the authentication completion message. The portable tracking device displays a text notifying a user that the portable tracking device is authenticated on an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display). If the portable tracking device receives an authentication request message, the portable tracking device performs authentication for a sticked device(110). The portable tracking device transmits an authentication completion message to the sticked device. The sticked device decodes and stores the authentication completion message. The sticked device vibrates to notify the user of the completion of the authentication.
