IPTV SERVICE SYSTEM IN LIBRARY AND METHOD THEREOF

An IPTV service system and method in a library are provided to secure various contents that may be difficult to be constructed in a library, and provide multimedia contents to users at a low cost. A contents data management device(100) converts a list of IPTV broadcast contents received from a library IPTV service providing system into the first broadcast list in a pre-set format and stores the same, and controls STBs(Set Top Boxes)(112,124) to receive the first contents corresponding to viewing information selected by a user from the first broadcast list from the service providing system and provide the same. A broadcast list providing unit(122) receives the first broadcast list from the contents data management device, provides it to a user via a display device, receives a user selection with respect to the viewing information of the first broadcast list, and transmits the same to the contents data management device.
