Zusammenfassung:A voltage controlled oscillator for regulating a phase noise and a driving method thereof are provided to suppress a phase noise of an output signal by increasing a slope of the output signal of the VCO(Voltage Controlled Oscillator). A voltage controlled oscillator(200) for regulating a phase noise includes a voltage controlled oscillating portion and an amplifying portion(250). The voltage controlled oscillating portion generates first output signals having oscillator frequencies corresponding to a source voltage. The amplifying portion receives the first output signals and amplifies an n-th order differentiated value of a transconductance component of the first output signals. The amplifying portion outputs the amplified result as a second output signal. The amplifying portion amplifies a second order differentiated value of the transconductance component of the first output signal and outputs the result as the second output signal.
