Zusammenfassung:A method and an apparatus for sensing the posture of a satellite are provided to obtain the posture of the satellite through numerical processing of a visual image. A method of sensing the posture of a satellite includes the steps of photographing an image of the earth using an image photographing part(S201), determining whether solar eclipse is generated(S202), filtering strong solar light to transmit the light to a posture signal generating part(S203), allocating a photograph image region to the posture signal generating part(S204), obtaining an earth boundary region(S205), calculating variation of the earth boundary region(S206), determining whether the variation value is normal(S207), converting the calculated variation value into an posture signal(S208), and initializing image information(S209).
