Zusammenfassung:	An ethanol extract of Poncirus trifoliata is provided to prevent fat from being absorbed into intestine by inhibiting the activity of pancreas lipase, thereby being usefully used as a medicine or a health functional food for preventing and treating obesity. A composition for treating and preventing obesity comprises an ethanol extract of Poncirus trifoliata as an effective ingredient prepared by putting dried Poncirus trifoliata in 50% ethanol and leaving it at room temperature for 2-3 days, wherein the extract inhibits the activity or pancreas lipase.
