BODY FLOATING PROTECTED APPARATUS IN VEHICLE ASSEMBLE FACILITIES

A vehicle body holding device installed in an assembly line is provided to prevent a vehicle body from moving upwards due to elastic force of a chassis spring by employing a tilting device which pushes the vehicle body down in the vehicle body. A vehicle body holding device installed in an assembly line comprises a support frame(6), a conveying rail(7), and a tilting device(9). The support frame is mounted on a frame of a body conveying device(1). The conveying rail lies from the support frame to a vehicle body(B) loaded on an OHC(Overhead Camshaft) hanger(3). The tilting device moves toward the vehicle body along the conveying rail by a motor driven by a controller(30) and pushes down the vehicle body. The tilting device includes a fixing end(13), a rotating actuator(10), and a fixing actuator(12). The fixing end pushes down the vehicle body to prevent the movement of the vehicle body. The rotating actuator causes a rotating member(11) in a horizontal position to be in a vertical position. The fixing actuator causes the fixing end to push down the vehicle body. The rotating actuator and the fixing actuator are operated by a controller.
