THE APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING CURVED EXTRUDED PROFILES

A variable curvature imparting apparatus for an extruder is provided to separably install the apparatus without modifying the extruder, freely vary the curvature imparted to a proceeding extruded bar, substantially extend an importable curvature range, and perform maintenance and repairing of the apparatus easily. A variable curvature imparting apparatus for an extruder comprises: a supporting connection member(11) separably connected to a front face of an extruder(1) having a guide hole formed therein such that an extruded bar(E) passes through the guide hole; a guide frame inserted into the guide hole to guide the extruded bar in a state that the guide frame is closely adhered to a front face of the extruder; a plurality of jigs(13) which are sequentially joined with an inner part of the guide frame along a pass line horizontal to the extruded bar, and of which inner peripheral surfaces are closely adhered to an outer peripheral surface of the extruded bar to support the extruded bar; a supporting frame(14) of which a rear end portion and a bottom face are joined with a front end portion of the guide frame and a top part of the supporting connection member respectively; a roller frame(15) joined with the supporting frame and reciprocated and rotated itself along the direction perpendicular to the pass line; and a pair of curvature imparting rollers(16) which are joined with the roller frame such that the curvature imparting rollers are rotatable independently, and a gap between the curvature imparting rollers is adjustable at the same time, and which have a through-hole formed therebetween to pass the extruded bar through the through-hole. The guide frame includes: a rear guide frame member(12A) comprising at least one of a tubular guide pipe(12A1) and a plurality of pipe supporting bars(12A2); and a front guide frame member(12B).
