APPARATUS FOR REMOVING DROSS OF ZINC POT

An apparatus for removing dross of a galvanizing pot is provided to increase removal efficiency of dross generated on a surface of molten metal contained in the galvanizing pot and reduce manual operation of a user by selecting and using a basket according to a dross removal work environment. An apparatus for removing dross of a galvanizing pot comprises: a plurality of baskets(40) which are provided as different types of baskets to collect or select dross on a surface of molten metal contained in a galvanizing pot according to a work environment; a robot(10) which is installed around the galvanizing pot and is operable by at least two axes; a basket mounting part(20) mounted on one side of the robot and installed to exchange one basket with other type of a basket according to a work environment; and a control part which controls an operation of the robot for removing dross of the galvanizing pot by the one basket mounted on the robot, and controls an operation of the basket mounting part for replacing the one basket according to the work environment. The apparatus further comprises a basket keeping part(30) which is formed within a working radius of the robot to keep the different types of the baskets.
