SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING VOICE MESSAGING SERVICE WITH REAL NUMBER AND VIRTUAL NUMBER OF MOBILE TERMINAL

A system and a method for providing a voice message service by using the real number and virtual number of a mobile terminal are provided to store information about the virtual number in a VMSS(Voice Message Service Server) in using a voice message box for a call received through the virtual number, thereby enabling a called terminal user to discriminate whether a received voice message is received through the real number or is received through the virtual number. A method for providing a voice message service by using the real number and virtual number of a mobile terminal comprises the following steps of: allowing a called MSC(Mobile Switching Center) receiving call request including a virtual number transmitted from a calling terminal to check the call disconnection state or voice message conversion setting state of a called terminal through an HLR(Home Location Register) and check conversion into a voice message box(S202); allowing a voice message service server providing the voice message service to store voice messages and the virtual number received from the calling terminal(S236); and allowing the called MSC receiving the request of the called terminal to call the virtual number and the stored voice messages from the voice message service server and provide the virtual number and the voice messages to the called terminal.
