Zusammenfassung:	A bidirectional microwave communication system for a train and a method for providing an additional service using the same are provided to improve safety by supplying an internal image of the train and train operation information transmitted from the train to a central headquarter. A bidirectional microwave communication system for a train includes a ground device(100), an in-train device(200), and an integrated operation device(300). The ground device is provided in each state. The in-train device is provided in the train, and transmits and receives data through the microwave communication with the ground device. The integrated operation device is installed in a central headquarter. The integrated operation device is connected to the ground device through a network. The in-train device demodulates a digital image broadcasting signal received through the microwave communication and divides the demodulated digital image broadcasting signal into a platform image and an additional content image to provide the platform image to an operator of the train and the additional content image to passengers.
