Zusammenfassung:	A method and an apparatus for forming horizontal pleats of cloth and the cloth manufactured thereby are provided to form the horizontal pleats clearly and effectively, by folding the horizontal pleats such that adjacent horizontal pleats overlap each other. A plurality of horizontal pleats are formed in a width direction while cloth is transported. Each of the horizontal pleats is folded in a horizontal direction while a portion of one horizontal pleat overlaps a portion of adjacent horizontal pleat. The horizontal pleats of the cloth are compressed and heated. A bonding sheet, which is coated with an adhesive, is entirely bonded on a horizontal pleat-sided surface of the cloth.
