Zusammenfassung:	A method and an apparatus for setting a route of a wireless network are provided to reduce overhead and improve efficiency during a route discovery process by restrictively using flooding technique to nodes located in a direction of a destination node. A method for setting a route of a wireless network comprises the following steps of: receiving location information of first and second neighboring nodes located within source nodes and first and second hop ranges; determining a direction of a point where the second neighboring node is located based on the source node by using the received location information; detecting a second neighboring node having the same direction as a point where a destination node is located based on the source node(S804); and restrictively setting a route through the detected second neighboring node when the source node sets a route for transmitting specific data to the destination node(S806).
