Zusammenfassung:An intermediate compound for preparing amlodipine is provided to produce high-purity amlodipine and acid addition salts thereof in high yield. An intermediate compound for preparing amlodipine has a structure represented by the following formula 6 or formula 7. The intermediate compound of the formula 7 is prepared by subjecting the compound of the formula 6, 2-chlorobenzaldehyde, and methyl 3-aminocrotonate to a Hantzsch reaction. A method for preparing amlodipine represented by the following formula 2 includes a step of de-protecting a 2-nitrobenzenesulfonyl group from the intermediate compound of the formula 7.
