APPARATUS FOR ANTI-BENDING OF STRIP IN COLD ROLLED MILLS

An apparatus for preventing strip from bending in a cold rolling mill is provided to prevent the generation of a bending phenomenon that the end of the strip is bent by holding an end of the strip at a moment when the strip is cut in a state that the strip is tightly pulled by a tension reel in the cold rolling mill. In a cold rolling mill including a tension reel(2) for winding a strip(1) thereon while maintaining a predetermined tension, and a cutting part(3) for cutting the strip in front of the tension reel, an apparatus for preventing strip from bending in the cold rolling mill comprises: a strip attaching unit(10) which has a hinge part(11) installed thereon in a proceeding path of the strip such that one end of the strip attaching unit extends by the circumferential tangential line of the tension reel while the other end of the strip attaching unit is rotated, and which has a plurality of electromagnet parts(12) installed between the one end and the other end thereof along the proceeding path of the strip such that the electromagnet parts are spaced apart from one another in a predetermined distance; a control part(20) for applying a predetermined electric power to the electromagnet parts; and a sensor(30) that is installed on the cutting part and allows the cutting part to inform the control part of a cutting time of the strip.
