Zusammenfassung: | A composition for food containers is provided to obtain eco-friendly food containers with various shapes at a low cost and to impart biodegradability to the food containers, thereby preventing environmental pollution. A composition for food containers comprises 45-70 wt% of pulp, 7-15 wt% of potassium silicate, 4-8 wt% of lithium silicate, 11.9-16 wt% of sodium silicate, 1-3 wt% of a dispersant, 5-10 wt% of starch, 1-2 wt% of a water repellent agent, and 0.1-1 wt% of a release agent. A food container is obtained by the method comprising the steps of: mixing the above materials except the release agent and the water repellent agent to obtain mixed materials; coating the inner surface of a mold with the release agent; molding the mixed materials in the coated mold into a food container at 80-150 deg.C; and coating the external surface of the food container with the water repellent agent. |
