SLIDE TYPE COVER OPENING AND SHUTTING DEVICE FOR MOBILE PHONE

A slide type cover opening/closing apparatus for a portable terminal is provided to form the outside of an elastic member with synthetic resin, thereby preventing damage such as scratches on a guide member or a mobile member during movement as avoiding noise or an increase of friction, consequently an opening/closing action of a cover is naturally and smoothly conducted. A guide member(20) is in plate shape. A plate-shaped mobile member(40) is combined with the guide member in a sliding way. An elastic member(50) is installed between the guide member and the mobile member. Hinge pins(100) rotatively combine both ends of the elastic member with the guide member and the mobile member so as to support the combined ends. The guide member comprises as follows. A body is formed by using a metal plate. One pair of groove members(30), made of synthetic resin, is integratedly fixed to both edges of the body, and is equipped with guide grooves(32).
