METHOD FOR DOWNLOADING CONTENTS OF COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

A method for downloading contents in a communication terminal is provided to manage contents in a communication terminal efficiently by storing and maintaining download-interrupted contents and contents download details when the downloading of the contents is interrupted and deleting the contents download details if the downloading of the contents is completed. A control part in a communication terminal access a contents provider server through a radio communication part(301), and judges whether contents download details associated with the contents provider server exist in a storage part(303). If not, the control part requests the contents provider server to download specific contents according to a user's request(305). The control part downloads contents information for the specific contents through the radio communication part(307). Then the control part downloads the contents through the radio communication part, and stores contents download details(309). If the downloading of the contents stops in the middle of downloading the contents(311), the control part judges whether the downloading of the contents has been completed(313). If not, the control part judges whether the downloading of the contents has been interrupted by the user's operation(315). In case the downloading of the contents has been interrupted by another reason, not the user's operation, the control part stops the contents download procedures. In this case, the control part stores and maintains the download-interrupted contents and the contents download details.
