Zusammenfassung:	A door checker for a vehicle is provided to safely and rapidly open/close a door by adjusting friction force applied to a checker arm when the door is open/closed in a slope road. A door checker for a vehicle comprises a checker arm(10), sliders(19a,19b), a slope detecting sensor(33), magneto-rheological(MR) fluid springs(25a,25b), magnetic field load units(30a,30b), and a controller. One end of the checker arm is hinged to a pillar and a stopper is fixed to the other end of a hinge coupling section. The sliders are supported on upper and lower portions of the checker arm provided in the housing. The magneto-rheological fluid springs are installed between a housing(22) and the sliders. The controller controls the magnetic field load units according to an output signal of the slope detecting sensor.
