A transmission of a flocculator in a water purification plant comprises: a drive plate(3) installed on a drive shaft(2) that is connected to a motor as a power source; a driven plate(5) installed on a driven shaft(4) for receiving power from the drive shaft; a plurality of trapezoidal teeth(7) which are radially formed on one surface of the drive plate or the driven plate, and which have inclined planes formed on side faces thereof such that the trapezoidal teeth are spaced apart from one another in a predetermined distance along the circumferential direction of the drive plate or the driven plate; and trapezoidal grooves(6) which are radially formed at positions corresponding to the trapezoidal teeth on the other surface of the drive plate or the driven plate, and which have inclined planes formed on side faces thereof, wherein the trapezoidal teeth and grooves of the drive plate and the driven plate are coupled to each other in a closely adhered and contacted structure.
