Zusammenfassung:An automated power distribution system and an FWB(Fixed Wireless Bridge) communication apparatus for the same are provided to reduce the expenses for installing and operating an optical communication network by applying a fixed wireless communication technique to an automated power distribution system. An FWB communication apparatus(700), which connects a distribution automation control device to plural automated distribution devices through a network, comprises an automation control device interface(720), an automated distribution device interface(730), an FWB module(710), an RF(Radio Frequency) module, and an FWB control part(740). The automation control device interface(720) receives distribution automation control signals from the distribution automation control device. The automated distribution device interface(730) transmits the received distribution automation control signals to the automated distribution devices. The FWB module(710) transmits and receives distribution automation control signals with the second wireless communication apparatus using an FWB frequency band. The RF module transmits and receives distribution automation control signals with the second wireless communication apparatus using an RF band. The FWB control part(740) executes signal transfer and protocol conversion between the automation control device interface(720), the automated distribution device interface(730), and the FWB module(710). In case that a fault occurs in the FWB frequency band, the FWB control part(740) executes changeover from the FWB module(710) to the RF module.
