Zusammenfassung:	A descending aid for a side scan sonar is provided to change an intensity of a descending force generated in a horizontal tail wing by changing a location of an operation point of the force according to a connection location of a drawing cable. A descending aid for a side scan sonar includes a body(110), a vertical tail wing(120), a pair of horizontal tail wings(130) and a horizontal tail wing fixing unit(140). A drawing cable penetration hole through which a drawing cable is penetrated is formed in the body(110) of a cylinder shape along a lengthwise direction. The vertical tail wing(120) is installed to be fixed on a rear end of the body(110). The pair of horizontal tail wings(130) are installed with respect to a virtual axis, which is perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the body(110), on both sides of the rear end of the body(110). The horizontal tail wing fixing unit(140) is installed on the body(110) to fix and adjust a rotation angle of the horizontal tail wing(120).
