IMAGE SENSOR AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

An image sensor and an image processing method are provided to interpolate image data acquired through pixels, synthesize the interpolated images, and acquire a bearer image. A pixel unit(100) acquires first image data of high exposure and second image data of low exposure from an external object. A bilinear interpolation unit(120) performs the bilinear interpolation of the first image data and the second image data, and generates first interpolation image data and second interpolation image data. An image synthesizing unit(140) performs WDR(Wide Dynamic Range) operation for the first and the second interpolation image data, synthesizes the first and the second interpolation image data, and generates synthesis image data. An RGB bearer converting unit(160) forms a bearer pattern on the basis of the synthesis image data.
