Zusammenfassung:A bio-diesel production method that can continuously mass-produce bio-diesel at a high yield even with a single step reaction by improving the mixing efficiency of reactants including animal and vegetable oils and fats and alcohols using simplified process facilities is provided. In a bio-diesel production method comprising a process of performing trans-esterification reaction of animal and vegetable oils and fats and alcohols in the presence of a basic catalyst, the bio-diesel production method is characterized in that the trans-esterification reaction is a continuous single-step reaction performed in a fixed bed type reactor filled with an inert filler. The inert filler has an average particle size of 0.1 to 100 mm, and is at least one selected from the group consisting of alumina, silica, silica-alumina, zirconia, titania, and activated carbon.
