A method for improving a performance of an initial learning in a motor for a location control is provided to prevent damage of components like a sensor and a stopper due to an excessive current according to the restriction of the motor. A method for improving a performance of an initial learning in a motor for a location control includes the steps of: inspecting whether a location value of the motor for the location control is below a learning location value or not; inspecting whether the motor for the location control is arrived to a lock error position toward a plus direction or not if the location value of the motor for the location control is below the learning location value; and learning the location of the motor for the location control as a minimum location value from that time if the motor for the location control is arrived to a lock error position toward a plus direction.
