Zusammenfassung:A boot code recovery method of a mobile communication terminal and a device are provided to make the terminal itself overcome a boot code crash state by using a boot code prestored in an external data storage device if a boot code of the terminal is in crash state, thereby booting the terminal. A controller of a mobile communication terminal detects and drives a boot-up code for accessing a memory(S301,S303). A boot code for booting an operating system program of the terminal is received from the memory(S305). It is checked whether the boot code is in crash state(S307). If so, it is checked whether an external data storage device is connected(S309). If so, the boot code is received from the external data storage device(S311,S313).
