METHOD FOR PROCESSING MESSAGE IN MOBILE PHONE AND MOBILE PHONE THEREFOR

A method for processing a message of a mobile terminal and the mobile terminal are provided to reduce accumulation of one-time message and effectively use a storage space. A controller stores at least one identifier and at least one message including the identifier in a memory(S101). A message receiver of the controller receives a message(S103). A determining unit of the controller determines whether the received message has an identifier which has been stored in the memory(S105). When the received message includes an identifier which has been stored in the memory, a message processor searches a message including the corresponding identifier among messages stored in the memory(S107). The determining unit determines whether the searched message has been checked(S109). When the searched message has been checked, the message processor replaces the searched message with the receive message and stores the received message(S111).
