THE APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR POWER CONTROL OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

An apparatus for adjusting power in a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to more efficiently use the power of the mobile communication terminal, and to transmit a voice packet of the terminal after buffering the voice packet by using buffering of an AP for enabling the terminal to receive the voice packet through a two way communication module even when the terminal tries to transmit the voice packet. An apparatus for adjusting power in a mobile communication terminal comprises an inputting unit(80), a controller(50), a transmitter(60), and a receiver(70). The inputting unit(80) enables a user to input a voice signal. The controller(50) sets a power save mode according as the voice signal is inputted. The transmitter(60) transmits the voice signal if the power save mode is released. The receiver(70) receives the voice signal or data from a network if the power save mode is released.
