Zusammenfassung:A diamond tool and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to protect a cutting tip and a shank from thermal damage, by avoiding use of laser during cutting of diamond tip portions of the diamond tool. A method for manufacturing a diamond tool, comprises a first step of forming diamond tip portions(100); and a second step of forming through holes(110) of predetermined sizes to the diamond tip portions through a water jet. The first step includes a sub-step of spacing the diamond tip portions from each other along a circumferential direction of the diamond tool. The patterns of through holes formed at the adjacent diamond tip portions are different from each other.
