Zusammenfassung: | A wet drawing method of a wire for steel cord, which can improve durability of the steel cord while using an existing drawing machine without modification of the drawing machine, deterioration of drawing operation, or increase of material cost due to addition of specific alloy elements, is provided. In a method for drawing a wire by a drawing machine comprising three wet drawing tanks, a wet drawing method of a wire for steel cord comprises: a drawing step of primarily passing the wire through a first drawing tank at a cross section reduction ratio of 11 to 14%, and sequentially increasing a delta-parameter value per each pass represented by an expression, ÝÈ=(alpha/r)[1+Ý»(1-r)]^2, such that the delta-parameter value has a value range of 1.26 to 1.28 in a final pass, wherein "alpha" is a half angle of dies represented by radian, and "r" is an area reduction rate of the dies; a drawing step of secondly passing the wire through a second drawing tank to gradually increase a delta-parameter value per each pass such that a delta-parameter value of a first pass is in a range of 1.26 to 1.28, and a delta-parameter value of a final pass is in a range of 1.61 to 1.63; and a drawing step of thirdly passing the wire through a third drawing tank to controlling a cross section reduction ratio of a final pass to a range of 3 to 6% after gradually increasing a delta-parameter value per each pass such that a delta-parameter value of a first pass is in a range of 1.65 to 1.67, and a delta-parameter value of a pass prior to the final pass is in a range of 1.99 to 2.01. |
