BRICK PROTECTION DEVICE OF COKE OVEN DOOR

An apparatus for protecting bricks of a coke oven door is provided to prevent damage of the bricks by controlling a forward movement of the frame of the door cleaner according to the positional relation between brick protection members and a position detecting part when a frame of a door cleaner comes close to the coke oven door. An apparatus for protecting bricks(402) of a coke oven door(400) comprises: a door cleaner(410) that comes close to the coke oven door to clean the coke oven door; brick protection members(408) mounted on the bricks of the coke oven door; a position detecting part(420) mounted on one side of the door cleaner to detect the positional relation between the brick protection members and the position detecting part; a control part(430) for generating a proximity signal by moving the door cleaner toward the coke oven door such that the door cleaner approaches the coke oven door when the brick protection members and the position detecting part are positioned on a straight line by analyzing a position detecting signal detected from the position detecting part; and a drive part(440) mounted on one side of a frame(412) of the door cleaner and driven according to input of the proximity signal supplied from the control part to perform an operation of moving the door cleaner toward the coke oven door such that the door cleaner approaches the coke oven door.
