AN INDEX FORMING APPARATUS OF SLIDE FASTNER

A stamping device of a box forming machine for a slide fastener is provided to considerably improve the working process and the productivity by conveniently exchanging the stamps with an engraved initial or figure indicating the production firm with each other without changing a lower mold. The stamping device of a box forming machine for a slide fastener comprises: a through hole, formed in a determined size and arranged in a vertical downward direction of a base member(42) which supports a lower mold(22), especially a bottom surface of a box forming recess(28), provided in the lower mold(22); a stamping block(46), inserted from a lower side into an upper side of the through hole so as to reach the bottom surface of the box forming recess(28), and having an engraved initial or figures indicating the production firm on its' upper surface, and a threaded hole with a determined depth in the center of its' underside; and a fixing screw(52), inserted from a lower side of the base member into the through hole.
