BROADCASTING RECEIVER AND TIME DISPLAYING METHOD OF SAME CAPABLE OF EASILY PERFORMING RECEPTION MANIPULATION OF BROADCASTING RECEIVER

PURPOSE: A broadcasting receiver and a time displaying method of the same are provided to manipulate reception, tuning and display interactively, thereby capable of easily performing the reception manipulation of the broadcasting receiver. CONSTITUTION: A receiving member(1) comprises a tuner for receiving a broadcasting signal and a modulating/demodulating member. A multiple separating member(2) extracts video and audio signals and program information from the received broadcasting signal. A video/audio reproducing member(3) decodes video and audio signals. A control member(4) controls the respective components of the device and aids the user's program or channel number selection by information processing. A memory member(5) stores temporarily information. A remote controller(6) transmits a manipulating control signal for manipulating the broadcasting receiver. A remote controller receiving member(8) receives and decodes the manipulation control signal and then outputs the decoded signal to the control member. A screen producing member(8) generates an OSD(On Screen Display) signal. A mixing member(9) superposes the video signal with the OSD signal. A display member(10) outputs the video signal to a display apparatus. A manipulation panel member(12) is furnished to a body of the broadcasting receiver.
