EXTEMPORE SCULPTURE USING POLYURETHANE RESIN

PURPOSE: An extempore sculpture using a polyurethane resin and a preparation method thereof are provided to give an original form not broken at stripping after mapping and not to generate a bad smell at making the sculpture. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of the extempore sculpture comprises the steps of: making a first dough by mixing alginate and water in a weight ratio of 1:1; applying the first dough to a part of a determined body part, putting the dough on a support covered with a film, mounting a protective plate around the support and applying the dough to the rest of the body part; making a second dough by mixing alginate and water in a weight ratio of 1:0.8; applying the second dough to a part of a determined body part and then re-applying thereto; completing a sculpture frame by separating the support and the protective plate, pulling out the body part and reassembling the support and the plate; preparing a polyurethane resin composition; filling the frame with the composition; removing the support and the plate after the composition being hardened and releasing the sculpture; removing a residue of the sculpture; and removing the film from the support and attaching the sculpture to the support.
