Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A shock absorber is provided to prevent deformation of an ER duct to the utmost, to reduce the manufacturing cost, to improve safety and to prevent interference with a vehicle in mounting the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: In a shock absorber, first and second inner cylinders(2a,2b) of double structure are formed in an inner cylinder of an ER duct. Nitrogen gas together with an ER(Electro-Rheological) fluid is filled in a space between the inner cylinder and an outer cylinder(3). A spring seat(30) is installed to the outer surface of the outer cylinder. A spring, supporting a vehicle in mounting the vehicle, is fixed to the spring seat. Positive voltage is connected to the second inner cylinder and negative voltage is connected to the outer cylinder. 본 발명은 차량용 쇽업소버에 관한 것으로, 특히 실차 적용시 예상되는 안정성 및 장착성을 개선하고, 제작비용 절감할 수 있도록 개량한 것이다. 본 발명은 ER덕트(1)의 인너실린더(2)를 2중구조로 되는 제1,2인너실린더(2a,2b)를 형성하고, 상기 인너실린더(2)와 아웃실린더(3) 사이의 공간에는 ER유체와 함께 질소가스(N, gas)가 함께 봉입되며, 아웃실린더(3)의 외주면에는 스프링 시트(30)를 설치하여 상기 스프링시트(30)에 실차 장착시 차량을 지지하도록 된 스프링을 고정하도록 하고, 상기 제2인너실린더(2b)에는 '+'전압을, 아웃실린더(3)에는 '-'전압이 연결되는 구성한 것임.
