COMPOSITION FOR PREPARATION OF FLAME RETARDANT POLYURETHANE FOAM

PURPOSE: A composition for the preparation of a flame retardant polyurethane foam is provided, to prevent scorching and discoloration even in case of long period storage. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises isocyanate; polyol; a catalyst; a surfactant; a foaming agent; a flame retardant which is an organic phosphorus-based flame retardant; and an anti-scorching agent which is a mixture of a hydroquinone derivative represented by the formula I (wherein R1 is H, CH3 or CH2CH3, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are H or an alkyl group of C1-C9, and at least one among R2 to R5 is an alkyl group of C1-C9 in case of R1 being H) and a phosphorous acid ester compound represented by R3O-R(OR2)-OR1, P-(O-Ar-R4)3, R7OP(R8O)-O-R9-O-PR5R6 or the formula V (wherein R1, R2 and R3 are H, an alkyl, aryl or haloalkyl group of C1-C20 (the halogen is Cl or Br); Ar is a naphthyl, diphenyl or phenyl group; R4 is an alkyl group of C4-C20; R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are an alkyl, aryl or haloalkyl group of C1-C20 (the halogen is Cl or Br); and R10 and R11 are an alkyl, aryl or haloalkyl group of C1-C20 (the halogen is Cl or Br)).
