Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A dynamic control method for an overhead channel is provided to continuously offer a service to terminals in each sector or cell by periodically monitoring whether an overhead channel is normal and changing an abnormal overhead channel to a traffic channel when the overhead channel is abnormally operated. CONSTITUTION: A base station confirms whether a mode for dynamically controlling an overhead channel is set up(S11). If the mode is set up, the base station periodically confirms whether the overhead channel having a pilot channel, a synchronous channel, an access channel, and a paging channel is normally operated(S12,S13). If the overhead channel is abnormally operated because an error occurs in one overhead among a plurality of overheads, the base station resets the overhead channel in which the error occurs(S14). The base station confirms whether an unused traffic channel exists among normally operated traffic channels(S15). The base station resets the unused traffic channel so that the unused traffic channel is reset as the abnormal overhead channel(S16). The base station provides a normal service to a terminal by the normally operated overhead channel and the overhead channel reset as the traffic channel(S17). The base station continuously checks the operation state of the reset overhead channel(S18) and confirms whether the reset overhead channel is in a normal state(S20). If the reset overhead channel is in the normal state, the base station controls the operations of the overhead channel and the traffic channel so that the overhead channel and the traffic channel are returned to a previous state(S20).
