METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a CE(Channel Element) in a mobile communication system is provided to reduce a load of a base station control processor and shorten an installation time by optimizing the quantity of an allocation message requested between the base station control processor and a channel card when initializing the channel card of a PCS(Personal Communication System). CONSTITUTION: If a reception message processing unit receives a signal for informing that a receiving message exists from a base station control processor, a channel card processor reads the message and processes the read message according to a type of the message(S1). If the message is a message associated with initialization and allocation, the channel card processor reads information about the number of CEs to be initialized and allocated(S2). The channel card processor repeatedly information about each CE according to the number of CEs(S3). The channel card processor reads information of the CE(S4), and judges a type of the CE(S5) The channel card processor stores a real element number and an element type corresponding to the real element number in a common data region according to the type of each CE, and increases a counter of the type of the CE by 1(S6). The channel card processor requests data necessary for allocation to the base station control processor with reference to the stored element type(S7).
