Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: An up mixer for RF transmitter/receiver and a method for designing the same are provided to separate an RF signal from a signal of a local oscillator by using a CGCS(Common Gate Common Source) structure and obtain a low conversion loss and a variable gain characteristic by using a cascode matching amplification circuit. CONSTITUTION: An RF input port(11) is formed at an input stage of a frequency converter. A grounding pad(12) is formed to both sides of the RF input port. The first field effect transistor(FET1) is connected with one side of the RF input port. The first capacitor(C1) and the first inductor(L1) are used for performing a direct current interception function and a direct current feeder function. An input terminal matching portion is formed with the RF input port(11), the grounding pad(12), the first field effect transistor(FET1), the first capacitor(C1), and the first inductor(L1). A cascode matching amplification portion(20) performs a matching process to obtain an output power of a maximum gain.
