Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A process for mass-producing seedlings of Eleutherococcus senticosus Maxim. in an incubator using a direct somatic embryogenesis method is provided, thereby the Eleutherococcus senticosus Maxim., which is known to be difficult to propagate, can be mass-produced in an incubator. CONSTITUTION: The process for mass-producing seedlings of Eleutherococcus senticosus Maxim. in an incubator by using a direct somatic embryogenesis method comprises the steps of: collecting a small piece from a seedling of Eleutherococcus senticosus Maxim.; aseptically cultivating the small piece on a solid MS medium containing Auxin (2,4-D) followed by aseptically cultivating the small piece on the solid MS medium containing 5% sugar, 0.1 to 5 mg/l of 2,4-D and 0.8% agar to induce the first somatic embryo; transferring the first somatic embryo into a fresh MS medium containing 2,4-D and cultivating it for 1 to 2 months to induce the second somatic embryo; germinating the second somatic embryo in an MS medium containing 1 to 100 mg of gibberellin for 2 weeks; cultivating the germinated a seedling on a MS medium containing 1% sugar to produce a seedling; and transplanting the seedling to the mixed soil consisting of sand, soil and vermiculite in the ratio of 1:1:1 and raising it for 2 months.
