METHOD FOR BONDING ROUGH ROLLING MATERIALS DURING CONTINUOUS HOT ROLLING

PURPOSE: A method for bonding rough rolling materials during continuous hot rolling is provided which shortly bonds a preceding rolling material and a following rolling material that are proceeded in the high temperature state with a simple apparatus, and maintains solidity of the bonded part thereof. CONSTITUTION: The method for bonding rough rolling materials during continuous hot rolling comprises the processes of press forming the rolling materials so that corresponding male and female parts(11) are formed on the back surface of a preceding rolling material(10) and the front surface of a following rolling material(20) respectively; expanding a head part(b) of the male part(21) so that each of the male and female parts(11) are connected in a wedge shape, and forming an inclined surface(22) on the side surface of the male part(21) in such a manner that the inclined surface(22) is slightly larger than a groove(a) of the corresponding female part(11); and compressing and bonding the rolling materials after adjusting the rolling materials so that the female part(11) formed at the rear end of the preceding rolling material(10) and a front end of the following rolling material(20) are reciprocally overlapped.
