CATALYST FOR POLYMERIZATION OF OLEFINS

PURPOSE: A catalyst for the polymerization of olefins and a method for preparing an olefin homopolymer, a polyene and a cycloolefin polymer by using the catalyst are provided, to improve the activity of a catalyst. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst comprises a cyclopentadienyl compound represented by (C5R1(x-m)H(5-x))R2m(C5R1(y-m)H(5-y))nMQ(3-n) (wherein M is Ti, Zr or Hf; C5R1(x-m)H(5-x) and C5R1(y-m)H(5-y) are a cyclopentadienyl group substituted identically or differently; and Q's which are identical or different one another represent H, a halogen atom, OH, SH, R1, OR1, SR1, NR1_2 or PR1_2); an organometallic aluminum compound represented by AlR4(3-z)Hz (wherein R4's are identical or different one another and are an alkyl, alkenyl or alkylaryl group of C1-C10 capable of containing Si or Ge, at least one among R4's is other than a linear alkyl group, and z is 0 or 1); and the product obtained by contacting with water, wherein the molar ratio of aluminum to water is 1:1 to 100:1 and at least one aluminum compound represented by AlR4(3-z)Hz is present in the form other than the alumoxane compound represented by the formula III. 다음 성분들 : (A) 티타늄, 지르코늄 또는 하프늄 모노 - 또는 비스 - 시클로펜타디에닐 화합물(후자는 2개의 시클로펜타디에닐 화합물을 결합시키는 다리 형성기를 함유할 수 있다) ; (B) 하나 이상의 알킬기가 직쇄 알킬기 이외인 알킬 알루미늄 ; 및 (C) 물을 접촉시켜 얻어진 생성물을 함유하는 올레핀의 중합용 촉매. 알루미늄/물의 몰비는 1 : 1 내지 100 : 1 범위이다.
