REDUCTION CONTROL METHOD OF INRUSH CURRENT FOR A MICROWAVE OVEN

PURPOSE: An inrush current reduction control method for a microwave oven performs a zero-crossing at on/off time point of a relay, and minimizes an inrush current of a microwave oven. CONSTITUTION: The inrush current reduction control method drives a microwave oven according to on/off operation of a relay, and reduces its inrush current. The method determines/corrects the on/off time point of the relay in consideration of an off time point of the relay or an on time point of the relay, performs a zero-crossing at a phase value of voltage/current making a minimum inrush current, and turns on/off the relay according to the zero-crossing. Thereby, the inrush current of a microwave oven is minimized thereby stably driving the microwave oven.
