RECORDING RATE CONVERSION DEVICE OF HD-VCR

PURPOSE: A device for converting a recording rate of an HD(High Definition) VCR is provided to differentiate the recording rate according to various kinds of tapes such as a normal tape and a super tape, so as to adaptively supplement screen deterioration in a reproducing process. CONSTITUTION: A switch(41) transmits inputted recording data to an interface(42) or an error corrector(43). The error corrector(43) adds an error correction code for error correcting of the recording data. A code adder(44) adds a data code for variable speeds and searching processes to data outputted from the error corrector(43). A formatter(45) receives the output data and formats the data to be appropriate for being recorded. A tape selector(46) controls the switch(41), the error corrector(43), the code adder(44), and the formatter(45). An interleaver(47) receives broadcasting data inputted from the switch(41) through the interface(42) or output data of the formatter(45), and mixes the received data with optional data for preventing a burst error. A modulator(48) converts an output signal of the interleaver(47) into a signal appropriate for being recorded in a tape. 본 발명은 에치디브이씨알(HD-VCR)에 있어서, 기록 비율을 다양하게 구현하는 기술에 관한 것으로, 일반적인 테이프가 장착되었을 때에는 입력되는 기록용 데이타(D)를 인터페이스(42)→인터리브(47)→변조기(48)를 통해 출력하고, 변속이나 서치등의 특수 코드가 부가되는 슈퍼테이프가 장착되었을 때에는 그 기록용 데이타 (D)를 에러정정기(43)→코드 부가부(44)→포맷터 (45)→인터리브(47)→변조기(48)를 통해 출력하는 방식으로 테이프의 종류에 따라 기록 비율을 변화시킬 수 있게한 것이다.
