USER INTERFACE APPARATUS OF WIRELESS TELEPHONE SET HAVING TOUCH SCREEN

PURPOSE: A user interface device of a wireless terminal installing a touch screen is provided to divide keypads displayed on the touch screen into various units, and to display a telephone directory composed of names and phone numbers on the touch screen, when a flip is opened. CONSTITUTION: A user interface device locates an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(110) on an upper surface of an upper housing(160) of a wireless terminal(100). The user interface locates the first touch screen(120) at a lower end of the LCD(110). The user interface device locates the second touch screen(130) on an inner surface of a flip(190) covering the first touch screen(120). A program adaptively displays keypad data and keypads on the touch screens(120,130). A memory stores the keypad data indicating a phone directory composed of names and phone numbers, and a keypad of a general wireless telephone. A controller senses an operation from the touch screens(120,130) to adaptively display the keypads on the touch screens(120,130). The controller displays display data according to a program performing, and displays a state of the wireless terminal(100) on the LCD(110). When the flip(190) is opened, the controller simultaneously displays the keypads and the phone numbers on the touch screens(120,130). If a display command exists to a horizontal axis, the controller displays the display data to a horizontal axis direction. If the names or the phone numbers are touched, the controller performs an automatic dialing function.
