Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: An auto-tuning device and a method for setting the same are provided to automatically tune a broadcasting frequency signal in a broadcasting systems using a plurality of broadcasting signal types. CONSTITUTION: In an auto-tuning device, a signal detecting part(30) receives an intermediate frequency from a tuner(10) and detects a broadcasting system data signal for identifying a broadcasting system with a reference frequency signal of a program channel. A memory part(50) stores a reference frequency signal of the program channel including the broadcasting system data signal detected from the signal detecting part. A control part(40) controls the operations of the respective devices for setting an auto-tuning of a channel and outputs a tuning signal of a desired channel using the signals stored in the memory part.
