DEVICE OF MOUNTING BATTERY

PURPOSE: A device for mounting a battery is provided to easily secure an inside area of an engine room and to make convenient connection of terminals and mounting and removal of a battery by compacting structure. CONSTITUTION: A terminal reception groove(2) is formed at a side of a battery(1), and a battery terminal(3) is protrudingly installed in the groove. A battery reception part(5) for completely inserting a part of the battery is formed in a vehicle body panel(4) of an engine room, and a cable terminal unit for connecting the battery terminal is formed on the inner wall of the reception part. A fixing member consisting of an elastic member(7) and a stopper(8) is prepared to retain the battery settled in the reception part. For mounting the battery, the battery is placed onto the stopper and inserted into the reception part. The battery is completely settled in the reception part, and the stopper ascends by the elastic member. Rear face of the battery is supported on the stopper, and mounting state of the battery is firmly retained. The battery is separated by pressing the stopper. Therefore, the battery is easily mounted and separated without an additional fixing unit.
