METHOD FOR INVESTIGATING OIL CONTAMINATION

PURPOSE: A method for examining the contamination of oil in soil is provided to recognize the distribution of contamination by accurately and systematically examining the contamination degree of oil in the soil. CONSTITUTION: To measure the contamination degree of oil in soil, an origin of contamination is expected by inputting a bore hole by each apex of an oil storage tank. A point of extracting a soil sample is decided by using a triangular matrix method based on the point expected as the origin of contamination. A soil sample of an excavation point is extracted by using a DPT(direct pushing technology). The concentration of BTEX(benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylene) contained in the soil sample is outputted by analyzing the extracted soil sample. Then a distribution chart of contamination is made up by synthesizing BTEX concentration data by the extraction point.
